Cavalry idea
Seperate Acceleration from manuverability, make them 2 seperate variables that have no connection to each other.
Heavy horses accelerate slowly , light ones fast
Heavy horses deaccelerate slowly, light ones fast (light horses hit a person and get stoped, heavy get just slowed down or so)

how bout instead of just stopping, light horses stagger the rider when bumping.
