In strategus commanders often buy very expensive equipment for dedicated ppl.Problem that not all understand that it not for them and buy it with first spawn with idea in mind:"I try don't die so fast" and die as usual,weapon on grou...you know end.
Propose to introduce system of rights.

Before battle or inside battle commander can take access to certain things in certain quantities to specific person.

This decides a lot problems.
The ability to create filters like melee,ranged,cavalry,siege engineer,ninja,meat,jerk etc.
Be good if faction can create this roster or filters and it install like default for the battles in which this fraction is involved.

I like this idea sounds reasonable but can it be coded? that is the question.

Really good idea. I've always wanted to put higher level gear in my armies to keep the good players alive, and to garner a reputation for giving skilled players in my forces top gear.  However, I've never done this out of a fear of griefers or noobs wasting the gear. What a simple solution to this problem, assuming it could be done.

Another idea.
Different kind of tickets in strategus.
Example = pure 2H, pure archer, hybrid xbow/pole, hybrid engineer/2H etc. Also, it would be good to restrict type of tickets in castles. I think 2 types of tickets per castle is good enough. You can hire xbowman or foot polearmer in Rhodoc's castles, but you need Vaegir (or Sarranid/Khergit) castle to hire archers or archers hybrids. Thereby you need more strategic and tactical thinking about "what is my Army powers and weakness? ". No more simple Grind and Grind and Grind for tickets in one place, because you'll need more than 1-2 types of troops.
And one exception maybe. Mercenary tickets. Rare and expensive. Jack's of all trades. Without class dependent gear restrictions.

This way you can manage your class dependent gear between types of tickets. No more 2H with 2H and 3 elegant poleaxes saved for an emergency.

Another type of adjustment
Levels of tickets
Level one ticket allow you hire 1-20 level player. Can use gear with 5000 total cost.
Level two ticket allow you hire 21-30 level player. Can use gear with 19000 total cost.
Level three ticket allow you hire any level player. Can use gear with 49000 total cost.

there is place for "training skill" for future. Also it can help to attract more lowcost troops/low level players in strategus batles.

This way you can manage your expensive/cheap gear between levels of tickets.

Do we speak about Crpg mate? Its about Strategus. Crpg is no more than kindergarten. In Strategus you must think, and make decisions. Not just use your great Right Button Push.
