Since we are on a realism kick, lets keep going.
Cavalry should not be able to attack though their horses head. We all agree this is realism. We also know via realism that you cant swing a lance through a horses head.
So, to switch their attack side on a horse, cavalry riders should be required to right click to cancel any chambered attack on the right hand side before they can switch over to the left side of the horse, then they have to click the attack button to chamber again.
It's only realistic after all. Now people won't need to jump out of the way. They can just dodge to the other side of the horse away from the attack, and cavalry can no longer cheat by attacking through the horse. :!:

If you can animate proper attacks in all directions while avoiding collision with the horse model then I'm all for it. If not simply removing it wont solve anything.

In Mount and Musket you can't jump and shoot or jump and melee. Just saying.

Go play age of empires 2, archery is still OP there.

There is no realism kick....unless it is regarding archery.
Really, the irony here is that it was your WHINING and Polkafranzi being MAD that resulted in a change in the first place. So perhaps if you quit your Primordial whining, we wouldn't have our Reactionary whining. Besides, all it takes is a drop of whine to have a cavalry nerf reversed, why not archers?
At any rate, all I have to do is change my style of play. Not much you can do about being crappy :P

well maybe it would glance off the horses head but when you think about it it would probubly be glitchy,even though im hardly cav i can imagine me wanting to lance the guy in front but glances off horses head....and die........oh how i would rage soooo. i wouldnt mind if they looked into it though thats just one scenario i can think of it would terribly nerf cav seeing how they could only couch from the front people would position themselves accordingly
(ps i do not think there is some realistic crusade as everyone who trys to make a point says but ill take your post seriously)
