For people like me who get random FPS lag on Dx9 it makes it nearly impossible to see when we run the game in Dx7 (Can't change gamma). Also rain just annoys everyone imo. Slowing you down even more just takes any intensity there is in a multiple man fight.

I run the game in DX7 and actually because there's no bloom or any cheesy effects, everything is brighter and easier to see.

Probably you accidentally switched some settings with your monitor, I dunno, but DX7 gives me much better FPS and better visibility at night than DX9. Have to put up with the graphics but shouldn't be that bad :P

And besides, I love those weather day/night cycle effects, don't take them away!

Just make rain a wee bit rare... But all of yesterday I only had it rain twice, so I am happy.

I can't see shit on night time so i can't block (max graphics settings and max brightness setup on my monitor) and rain is...well... annoying.
