The shields and horses gets repaired only if they die (horses) and break (Shield, tho that might not be balanced since some shields are rather sturdy, maybe pass a certain amount of damage?)

Not a bad idea. Though it would push a lot more people to exclusively using the highest end shields and horses that are hardest to break and die and still afford the upkeep. Would see a lot more guys on cataphracts with steel shields.

Also, add swordbreakers. Low cut damage but if you manually block another blade with it, you disarm them (they drop their weapon) and sometimes the weapon breaks.

just because a shield doesnt break doesnt mean its exempt from having to be repaired. bad idea
unless you want people to spawn with their battle damaged shields into the next round...which would fundamentally change game.

well maybe bare minimum it gets a cost reduction but in the long run u would have to do this to EVERYTHING aka if my helmet was not hit y should i pay for it?just an example i think this was touched on somewhere and someone said it would change the way people would fight aka they would refrain from fighting as much as possible seeing how people would be "punished" for actually fighting seeing how they had to pay for the equipment while the "leeches" did not
