Now when WSE is working, is it possible to make it so we can pick and change into armor of fallen warriors, like it's posible with weapons?
-
But this kind of armour has additional holes in it and is in general quite messy.
-
Yeah, it should be "worn" or had some other malus but I would still wear it. I'm a scavenger after all
-
Would love to be able to loot corpses. :D Might be gruesome but a huge part of the medieval battle experience. That was the "real pay" of soldiering.
-
Sure, lots of stationary targets taking 20 minutes to put on a set of full plate!
Great idea, my K/D (along with all other archers) will sky rocket! ^^
EDIT: On a less sarcastic note I don't think would be a good idea because people would be rushing to get different peoples armour and it would cause people to kick each other and basically attack "just to get someones heirloomed armour for a round or so."
I highly dislike this idea as let's be honest, it would be pretty rediculous for someone to suddenly switch armour mid round in a split second.
Also, wrong forum area! :)
-
Haha, that would be interesting.
@Tenne: Nice ninja-sig pic update. I lol'd when I first seen it.
-
Well, why I opened this thread is because I saw in WSE demos that is possible to change appearance in the middle of battle so I thought make it's possible to make armor just like weapons, to be able to loot it.

Well, it's not suggestion, it's just a question
-
No, its the best thing about looming armor, no-one can loot your shit!
-
Anyone noticed the murmillus prime effect - just the other way around. Berenger is +1 every post.
So original.
-

What's WSE??
So confused.

Warband Script Enhancer.
CMPX invented it, with this tool the devs can manipulate "hardcoded" mechanics.
Read about it here:

it would add extra hassle to dismounting your horse, also, i know it's a game, but some realism is a good thing, stripping someone down and taking their armour would take a while, helmets would be pretty cool, but again, just adds extra shit on the floor which is gonna give me problems with dismounting...
-
Well I'm for it.
But yes, as mentioned before; substantial degradation to looted armour and also the looting itself should take a long time to make it extra challenging.
Besides, there's room for realism in a feature like looting. People didn't just slide into an armour they first had to disassemble from a stiff corpse that weighed as much as the person looting did.
It would be an interesting feature, indeed. :)

this is a terrible idea
-
In theory grabbing helmets, maybe gloves would be decent to loot.
In practice this would be mega lame and overall stupid. I don't think it's worth the hassle to do something that adds very little to overall gameplay.
It's also going to make people look like garbage with mismatched scavenged items.
