Only 14, I will stop retiring and start to play more battles/sieges. The atmosphere is so much better than in cRPG battle/siege.

would have been way more, if the servers would not haven been so laggy. Seriously fighting on the eu server was like fighting on the na server 8 months ago.. and I am like 200 km away from the eu servers..

Not spending your life devoted to strategus is something to be embarrassed about now?
-
i think about 20ish that i showed up for, but either it was a push over fight or no show, other wise 7 battles which show a K:D
-
I think like 18-20
-
111 exactly.
-
Like 7... Working overnight has its perks, but it also has its drawbacks.
We need more 9 AM PST strat battles (not just EU attacking NA)
-
7...
We need more test battles on NA server!
-
29, I must say wasnt too fond of strategus battles. Especially later on, the castle sieges were just amazingly boring and gay. Enemies would catapult the castle too hell, while a few morons on the defending team wasted away all the tickets by rushing out. Which is the only thing I've seen of LLJK in strat, getting k/ds of 8/26 in AI castle defenses and yelling tactics are gay.
-
2 things, or u don't follow the commander orders, or the orders are fail.
Strats battle are amazing, just stay on TS and follow the orders.

I'm always on ts and I always follow orders, but the respawning just makes it less interesting and the castle sieges are just boring.

I like what this says about the people who fought LLJK and lost...

I didn't fight LLJK, I was a ninja for pretty much this entire strat session. I fought in some of Byzantiums battles as an applicant, none against LLJK though. When I was accepted in Byzantium they were already wiped out. I'm just reacting to all the boasting of several LLJK members of how they are unimpressed with EU clans their fighting ability, by stating how the only LLJK I remember seeing were a bunch of annoying trolls who were ruining the AI defense of two castles.

And I am unimpressed of everyone who fought LLJK considering "the only LLJK I remember seeing were a bunch of annoying trolls who were ruining the AI defense of two castles."
I would boast too if this represented my clan yet we thrashed everyone who fought us

Hehe, yeah that was kind off a loophole in my argument :P

Which two castles are you referring to? Most of the AI defenses were pretty well run with a lot of defenders also being in our Teamspeak, the problem was EU players with high pings just jumping off the wall to go melee. If it was a joke siege with 40 attackers versus 10 defenders or whatever, then of course we are going to goof off and have fun playing instead of all serious about troop tickets or whatever.
Also the LLJK record for K/D is 0/50 held by LLJK_Sperger, at the second battle of Ayn Assuadi versus the Pecores.
We don't care how many troops we lose because it is about having fun in the battles. It is quite a different game compared to regular CRPG Battle, and we are pretty good at it compared to some clans I think. Our troops get massacred without mercs from other clans, but that is because at the start of Strategus over half of LLJK had been playing for less than two weeks. Our last few battles went particularly well, with the newbies that stuck around approaching their second or third generations.
Our cav corps consists of entirely veteran players of many months, which is why the shogunates got trampled into the ground at the field battle.
Infact, of all of our battles, the only time we had a positive overall KDR was when we were fighting the Shogunates. Our worst KDR was when fighting the Pecores. This is despite the fact that the Shogunate at the time were supposed to be the #1 clan due to their prowess at playing in the CRPG tournaments. This is similar I think to ATS and the Northern Empire, recruiting the best NA players and having regular practices and scrims, and then fucking up and losing easy battles.

I can attest to that. One of the main reasons we romple-stomped ATS was the Cavalieres and LLJK cavalry just tore their hoplites to shreds over and over again in coordinated charges. Those 2 clans have the best group of NA cavalry that I have seen so far, most notably because they actually know how to work together (though they are full of some of the best individual NA cav players too) and don't need to be 1-man heroes , which doesn't work in Strategus, though many cav players from other clans seem to keep trying that strategy over and over again. I don't think ATS realized just how much LLJK cav mercs were part of why they got crushed in their battles against us. I think Smoothrich fought in more of our battles than any of the Cavalieres even did (thanks again for your help).

Your cav tactics worked great in strategus battles not gonna deny that, although I feel your cavalry would of done even better if they were just allowed to roam and do what they want rather than grouping up all the time and charging. I feel cav in this game are more poachers striking at oppurtune moments and less heavy tanks built for charging into groups.
Just my opinion not trying to be a dick because your cavalry did amazing in strategus battles and I can't argue that.

So true. The only time when cavs actually were "tanks" was in native, and that was WAY too powerfull. There really should be a total change in how cav works so that they are more charging tanks and less poking sneak attackers. Sadly I have no idea how to make this work (NO, giving horses more health/armour wouldn't work. At least not alone).

I agree with this philosophy, and it works well for veteran cav players who know which risks to take and when to just leave someone be. However, in a strategus battle, alot of times a cavalry commander will be handed a grab-bag of horsemen of varying degrees of skill, and it's a better overall strategy to coordinate where they go and when they go there in order to maximize utility and minimize losses.

Yes, I often peel off main cav forces to support/teamkill one particular flank or isolated honor duels/dismounted cav, close infantry support cav is the most fun but requires high individual skill and doesn't really work off orders, but after cleaning up it is good to have constant rally points and a chain of command with a cav player who knows flow of battles (infantry pushed up means ranged are exposed, intercepting flankers, skirmishing with other cav to serve as deterrent force).
If all cav are left to their own initiative a lot will strafe the lines in the "no mans land" between forces and get wrecked by ranged fire. Cav players just need to understand that even when doing a charge en masse, jesus christ don't charge head on to polearms, xbows, long 2 handers, unless you are guaranteed the kill (you probably aren't). Cavalry are so freakin expensive to afford in Strat, make your KDR worth the gold investment, treasure your little pony like it is your last god dammit. If you so happen to be charging into infantry and are probably going to die, at least strafe the main fighting line so you knock down all the people fighting your teammates. It is suprisingly easy to avoid long pointy sticks if you are only hammering into people pre occupied.
Anyways, fighting with FCC was too much fun this rendition of Strat. I pretty much stopped playing cRPG battle for a month because there were so many FCC fights/defending the LLJK homeland, marauding around killing pubbies just isn't as satisfying as murdering organized virtual knights (or the french). Me and my horse both are now suffering from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from our kill count and I have become archer so I can stop actually killing things/die in archer duels to sWalker.

we should make smoothrich write a guide to intelligent Calvary techniques.
We have some amazing cav players in FCC, and our allies TKoV have some awesome cav players too... but Smoothrich is the guy i noticed most; he wasn't usually the top of the team... but he always had the best KDR of our cav players... and like he said... cav is expensive in strat... so if im in charge of hiring I would rather hire the cav who goes 27:11 than the guy who goes 54:41.

Pfft, Smoothrich is just a BADPLAYER WANNABE.
(Please don't big up Smoothrich his ego is big enough as it is)

That was what I have seen some LLJK guys do in two AI castle defenses, big ones. We were trying to set up a good defense with ts, a few succesful fallouts occured. But all was in vain because our tickets decreased rapidly, due to all of the lone jumpers, of which I remember that some were LLJK. They were also trolling our attempts to organizing the pubbies.

They aren't following orders?
Do you knew u could kick them?
