So i suggested this in the siege topic and realised what an awesome idea I had :P
The idea (if it was not obvious from the title):
Regular cRPG battles should work like Strategus battles. Each team starts with an equal number of tickets and when they run out they lose.
Less waiting, more epic battles, can feel the ebb and flow based on the ticket number.. etc..

Actually, a player I know had the reverse idea :
Make strategus battles work like SP battles, with grouped reinforcements.

never played strategus and allways imagined it would be this way!

Maybe instead of 1 ticket per player you could have a system where a higher level player would need more tickets to spawn.
So, a level 30 player would need 30 tickets to spawn while a level 1 peasant just 1 for example.

Helrekkr thats a cool and interesting idea!
Maybe not that extreme, cause a horde of peasants can take down a lvl 30, but very interesting idea.

Normal Battles are fine, but I'd welcome TDM servers(With slight penalty on xp) more than eagerly!

It would probably prevent camping as well as you were going to respawn. Hopefully it won't mean everyone head on charge. That's the worst case but that's happening already anyway :lol:
