The voice commands we have right now aren't all that great; I never seem to be able to convey the message that I want to. cRPG requires a bit more teamwork than your average game, so I think a better voice set is in order. I understand that these are basically placeholder noises but I wanted to put in my thoughts about what exactly should be recorded.
"Behind you!" - #1 priority. I can't tell you how many times I've watched a guy get sneaked up on, and the best I can really manage is "Fall Back." Not really conveying what he needs to know, there.
"Put your shield up!" - When a friend may not be aware that there's an archer or thrower aiming for him.
"Hold your fire!" - So that people will stop throwing and shooting into a fight you're in; to let them know you're not interested in their "help."
"Follow me!" / "Stay here!" - Basic positioning commands. Never bad to have.
"Incoming cavalry!" - Letting the team know to watch out for lancers.
"Retreat!" - For when the best option is to flee, or for heroic last-stands in which you cover your ally's escape.
Can't think of anything else important right now... maybe a few taunts.

I agree with these... the incoming cav and..... of course.... the STOP SHOOTING INTO THIS CROWD IM FIGHTING IN YOUR GONNA HIT ME command. :)

STOP SHOOTING INTO THIS CROWD IM FIGHTING IN YOUR GONNA HIT ME command. :)
Stop throwing wardarts into melee I already have 3 of them sticking out of my back.
-
Ah, I've got one.
"Out of the way!" - Basically good for anyone blocking you, getting in your line of sight, or a peasant getting too close to your swordspam.
-
Well the most used words in this game is prolly, "Rape", WTF, FFS, NOOB. Would be really cool if somebody could make voice commands for those words :)

Here are some ideas for voice commands I think are better than the current and the OP:
'Form shield-wall!'
'Steady, lads! Steady!'
'Shield's up and advance!'
'Shield's up and flank left!' (right too)
'Stick together!'
'We're beating them!'
'They run from us!'
'Fall back slowly!'
'Defend our archers!'
'Take cover!'
'Incoming cavalry!'
'Attack their cavalry!' (and infantry, archers, etc.)
'Cavalry, regroup on leader!' (and infantry, archers, etc.)
'Cavalry, charge their archers!' (and infantry, cavalry, etc.)
edit:
BTW if just the people in my battalion could see my voice text, that would be nice.

It's all nice and fine but half of the players that actually have half a brain have allready disabled those that exist thanks to massive spam.
-
If I were cavalry I'd spam Incoming Cavalry! so people become desensitized to it and I can lance them at leisure 8-).
-
maybe put a limiter on it like 3 a minute ?
by then most ppl who spam it r dead lol
-
At least (I am agreed - all of your commands are very good and I want all of them),
but at least one voice command (with very close range)
must be implemented ASAP = "alarm" or "watch up" or "look up" or "look around" (just don't know English so much to find a correct phrase)

The most important thing to add though, is a way for us to see actually WHO is screaming. Yah, I know it says their name in the chat, but then we still have to find them on the battlefield.
Too many times I`ve played siege, hearing someone scream "Follow me!", checking the chat message for his name, just to not being able to find the dude who shouted anyway.
I think making us able to see the person shouting would make it easier for teamplay.
My suggestion on how to do it is to make the banner flash or something for the guy who is shouting. Might be a bit too little though so if anyone else have any better ideas, just come with them.
Edit: I would also like a "Oh SHIT" voice command. For when things get rough .
