anyone notice that there is a dire lack of any kind of diplomatic information supported by the website
right now the only way to know someone is at war and with who and what allies is but looking at the map and saying... hey theres a lot of purple by that yellow, i wonder if purple is at war

This is calradia not some pansy 21st century wizard magic! Send runners use diplomats and listen to the rumours of the peasants!

Yeah, pay attention to the battle list or the diplomacy thread scrub.

Posting in this thread.

the problem with looking for threads is that not all clans post their wars for very obvious reasons
not to mention if two fucking giants are at war news (should) would spread like wild fire in calradia
the player should not have to cross reference clan forums, crpg diplo forums, crpg clan threads, and the battle schedule, in order to get a semi clear picture of diplomatic relationships

If it's working for most of us, it's probably not the game's problem.

+1
diplomacy was never a simple thing.
this is not some game title, where u can put everything into simple boxes.

It does spread like wildfire, the invasion of the Northern Empire was probably the most posted about, right up until DRZ vs FCC.
You only really need the diplo forums and the battle schedule.

Lol, could they fly then?

Some crafty bugger should just start a "Strat newsletter" and charge 10k per copy, like, oh I don't know, they did in the old days.

Thank you.
I just need to find the title of my printing company, though the first issue (and perhaps others) may be free. A whimsical newsletter written in an RP manner would not only be potentially entertaining, but also valuable for those who want a summary of current events...
Now for the name of the weekly newsletter...

The Calradian Chronicle? The National Impaler? Strategus Sentinel? The Medieval Times? T.K. Guide? The Watch Tower*? Warfare Weekly?

We'd have to have multiple ones to fight the obvious influence that your faction would have upon you.
Not all of us want the world according to the evil fallen heretics.
Impartiality my friend, is hard to obtain.
-
As if anything accurate could come out of a bunch of mindless Templars. A good, accurate paper would have to be printed out of Zagush.
-
Perhaps each clan can have their own weekly column :P

I was thinking of writing it based on what I hear, both from the multiple TeamSpeaks and Ventrilos that I visit, as well as the forums. Not really based on the Fallen Views (though that will creep in whether I want it or not for obvious reasons) but more on public perception as well as anyone I interview.
Worse comes to worse, just think of it as Fox news! I might turn it into a easy to read sensationalist publication.

Good suggestions!
