Take a friend with you into battle more quickly or rescue them from dying with your horse.
They press F to mount the horse normally as a passenger while you are riding it = win
PLEASE CONSIDER!
Also be sure to check out this topic on characters that grow in size based on iron flesh: http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,1516.0.html

No, obviously you throw your shield on the ground, stand on it, and hold onto the horses tail!

Great for templars, they were so poor that they pair of them had to use just one horse. True fact.

Seems like it'd add to realism. But I'd prefer if our suggestions were kept on easily coded things that would be useful and used in the game. The way I see this is teammates jump on your horse at spawn and don't leave. It would get fuckin' annoying.

If ever implemented, then the ability to slit their throat if they refuse -- or like... kick them off the horse. That works too.

Ushering a new era of trolling possibilities.
"GET OFF MY HORSE"
"But I wanna ride the pony"
"GET OFF"
"Pony!!"

Would be cool to have 2 horse archers on the same pony!!! =D

I'd agree with that.

I'm for this because I always wanted Troublesome wrapping his manly arms around my character as we trot across the countryside romantically.

They did it because they liked hugging another man on horseback not because they were poor.
