Really depends on my mood.
But if I find the right track, and the cool part kicks in, I feel like I'm indestructible, and can slay 10 foes around me, while I feel like I'm in another universe. It's hard to explain, it's like your soul is in "tune" with the music. :)
Hard rock/Metal most of the time, but I like a wide variety of music.
-
I hear the climax of the song and yes I feel a certain power that is unexplainable
I usually rewind song before climax, stick on my heavy armor and charge out into the crowd of enemies.. they never expect it
-
Anything ABBA
-
metal gear solid 1,2,3,4 and lord of the rings trilogy soundtracks.
-
Totally
-
I think I've found a nice example for that effect.

Good part starts around 3:00, climax is at 3:30. That riff is.. sick. :)
KTB is awesome btw.
-
Wham- Wake me up Before you GO-GO
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIgZ7gMze7A
And this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
Awesome songs to listen to while im either dancing while playing or just playing.
-
Megadeth /Slayer / Pantera / Symphony X :D
-
Unfortunately I cant manual block and lose battlefield awareness when im listening to music... :(
And my gameplay depends on these 2 things a lot.

The Cinematic Orchestra is generally a pretty good choice.
-
WHOURKR (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQx7Y34DKSI)
MYRKSKOG (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smF36pyOR_E)
VILDHJARTA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39B7lk_NhTw)
CHIMPSPANNER (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0IK8apkB3Y)
But I never listen stuff while I'm playing, need my ears to determine which direction the cav is coming from or listen arrows flying around OR listen Merc bullshit on TS and I'm %80 of the time drunk, come to think of it I've never played sober (almost)

Godspeed you black emperor!

Nice! I remember two songs from them, Dead Flag Blues, and East Hastings. Wonderful songs.
-
All good songs! Except I liked "Cinematic Orchestra - The Man With The Movie Camera " personally
Noctivagant: The first song you mentioned made me jump out of my chair and hit my head on my tv
Had the volume up so damn loud
The fourth song is good though if you like that sort of music
Ragnar You bastard piece of filth you rick rolled me
Should have seen it coming  Kind of like that song now btw, its not a bad song after all and I don't know how it got a bad rep for it. :D
This is for you guys, hope you like muh present:

I'm usually in the music off camp but here's a few sea shanties:
"Nephicide" by Jogger, good video too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l24MRTxgvRE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l24MRTxgvRE)
"Shake It" by MC Shy D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_4N8MVMm7s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_4N8MVMm7s)
"Dance Master" by Willie Henderson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peTBRWF9gEA&feature=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peTBRWF9gEA&feature=related)
"Living in America" by DOM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrcLdY1sxAY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrcLdY1sxAY)

I always listen to the A-team theme song while I play cav.
-
propably this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXzLiI3mOpA or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXCh9OhDiCI
they make charging on horse even better ;)
-
These days im listening mostly to septic flesh (amazing band if you dont know them, very original. Doing music for 20 years.):
On horse, i would use this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdfptnc5je0
On foot ill fight for anubis:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdxvCgWxlNY
Doing something boring like siege ill use this song to improve it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hRr2bHP5tM
-
Interesting choices, but those septic flesh songs scare me slightly..
-
As long as its a good rock song I can really own people.
I got high the other day and listened to a bunch of ACDC couldn't stop killing. Also when your high or drunk does anyone have the urge to run around naked and start Bitch slapping the enemy or is it just me?
-
Eluveitie - Your gaulish war, and almost every song from them.
Amorphis, many songs.
All that remains, many songs.
Killswitch Engage, many songs.
Also Parkway Drive and Heaven shall burn.
And have to say last but not least: In flames, older production.
-

Yes, very important distinction to make when it comes to In Flames. Sadly something not quite epic happened with the newer stuff.
Gyroscope - Whoracle album. Probably one of the most epic melodic death metal songs ever recorded.
Jester Race is right up there as well come to think of it.
-
Yeah In Flames havent got anything new lately. They are just repeating and they sound allways the same for me. I liked them a lot about 5 years ago but i got bored of them :/

Happens to alot of bands. But like many good metal bands, their older stuff is timeless and classic.

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of The Prodigy, awesome for combat adrenaline etc. And also a lot of old school hiphop, like NAS, Army of the Pharaohs (Jedi Mind Tricks), and some more random.

Drum & bass like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjr4uOEJ6fo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjr4uOEJ6fo)
