Title: Name change, new character incorrectly set as Alternate.

I recently requested a name change for my main to add a clan tag.
The original character was Discotek, after the change I had LLJK_Discotek as requested but it was set as an alternate and I am unable to change it back to main myself.
Any chance some help with this?

Well, the process of renaming works somehwat like this:

you add in request, lvl 1 alternate character is created with the new name, and untill the change is accepted, it stays as alternative...as soon as the data are transferred to new one, it should be main just as before the rename, did the rename already go thru?

It did, the old character is also gone.
