Attention all cRPG members!
The Kingdom of Haven will be hosting a 2v2 tournament for all members of cRPG! The winners of the tournament will recieve 100k between the two of them and the runner up team will recieve 50k to split between them. The matches will be best 2 out of 3 on the arena map I am making. Me and Soulless will ref the matches and we will choose one more referee before the actual tournament. There will be no weapon restrictions but the armor will be restricted to:
Mail Coif
Heraldic mail with Tabard or lower (less than body armor)
Wisby Gauntlets
and
Mail Chausses
NO CAV, NO CRUSH THROUGH (sorry folks boss' rules)
The date for the tournament is Saturday the 24th and the times will be determined later. The cut off for sign up will be Midnight Saturday, Septmeber 17th. To sign up for this tournament use this:

from the poll i see the majority want armor restriction, so i will now move the armor type to heraldic or lower for a more realistic amount. Also range has been put back because Soulless says its ok. Also Ildist will be the ref to replace me for this tournament because i am busy.

restricting armors is pretty dumb, just giving an even bigger advantage to agi builds game. let people wear their own armor and play to their strengths instead of some arbitrary rule that you think keeps things 'fair and balanced'.

Some of us don't use pierce weps. I'm an xbow build and would only join w/ the armor limit. Last thing I'll be doing is slashing 2 loomed tincans 15 times.

and thats your own fault for using a cut dmg weapon. you just arent well matched vs heavy armor crew. heavy armor isnt without its draw backs so theres no reason NOT to allow it.

What are the drawbacks? You walk a tad slower and can't use a bow as effectively.

arghhh I can't one shot someone with my xbow build that's got high agi so I could run away faster and shoot better, drawback being that I can't do well in melee against tincans arghh solution being i refuse to play against tincans because clearly they are unfair arghhh

We talked about it on TS, and the rules are going to probably be: no ranged, cav, crushthrough, and heraldic transitional armor at the most. Looms allowed.

its going to be a small 2v2 map so cav is out and range was questionable, o also i wont be able to ref the 2v2 match so there are currently 1-2 ref spots open for haven people to sign up for PM me if you want it or PM souless

Also, fickle advisors make for weak tournaments.
I would very much enjoy at least some evidence that someone is working on orginizing this. Maybe, idk, a /list/ of the teams that are signed up. Or a nicely /formatted/ OP with all the rules listed out simply and clearly. The gigantic crossed out link just kills my eyes.

Everyone who entered is gonna put up a fierce fight I think. For some reason, my top 3 picks are gonna be Miley / Allers, Ryan / Tankmen, and Dan / Pibb.
Battles I'm looking forward to most are against Matey and Cyranule because you guys are sick all around, and ManOWar and Jar because they're the mirror of me and Polish: shielder + polearm support.
If I were intelligent I'd get a swiss halberd, but I'll stick to my guns.
