Sweet.  Still stuck between ded. xbow, bowman, or 1h mounted inf. for next gen, but it's good to know that's a goox ded. xbow build.

but I usually go up to only 150 xbow and the rest in 2h but thats just personal preference

Just crossbow.  Maybe keep a heavy crossbow around for when tincans really start roaming.

crossbow if you want to have 2 slots, and arbalest if you want much dmg, heavy is shit, not much faster then arbalest, but less dmg, and also 2 slots.
And how i see if you use arbalest, you better spend all wpf on xbow, because with 24agi or with 27 with 1h weapon you are fast enough.

Dont make this build, i have this 1, it is crap without any ps, make 15/24 for lvl 30, with 5 ps, because you will have enough situations when you cant run, or you shoud fight in melee, you can find some good 2h or use your weapon, and with 5 ps you can make kills in melee, but with 0 just to low dmg.

this is the worst built ever :D

dedicated does not mean that you have to put all your wpf in xbow, it rather means that xbow is your primary weapon...
and I think 150 wpf in xbow is totally enough, I even played some gens with 140, with arbalest its still pin point accurate and you will need the wpf in 2h.

dedictated xbow and dedicated archers are not comparable...because an archer can run and shoot, and xbow man HAS to get into meele 50% of the rounds and thats just if hes on the winning team.

ah and yes, choose the arbalest, its way more accurate : )

but also 140-150 wpf is good ofc, but if you want to snipe in head or for very long distanse better 170-180 wpf for arbalest, with high agi you can hit fast enough i think. And if you make regular1 with 2h 100 can be enough, because allways close to the battle.

mh ok....for me it just didnt pay of, I tried one gen with 175 wpf in xbow and didnt feel a big difference, whereas 1 or 130 wpf in 2h makes a huge difference ;-)

My lvl 30 (non retiring) xbow build was:

15 str
27 agi

8 WM
9 ATH

150 xbow
~100 2h

By lvl 32 I also added 5 PS

Not a bad build, I did quite well with it.  So don't knock it.  9 ath is just awesome.

Go 15/21 and do xbow and 1h cav.

This will not be quite as effective as a dedicated xbow build, but will still allow you to get decent melee and xbow prof, 7 ath, riding and wm, 5 ps and 3 points for IF or shield.

A small price to pay, in my opinion, to be able to perform multiple roles with a single character.
