Title: CD-Key change, any way to save forum account?

Ok, so here's my problem:
A few days ago, TaleWorlds allowed those,who bought the game during the Steam sale and recieved wrong 5x5 keys, to get the correct ones. I am planning to change it in about a week or so, but I'd like to keep my current characters and account. Is it possible to do so? In fact, it's the forum accout that I'd like to keep. Characters are not so important.

Since you already have an account here, you will keep that one in any case. Your account with the new key will just not be tied to your current forum account that uses the old key.
If that bothers you, you can try to bug chadz about it... good luck.
