Title: the sWalker's greatest defeat to date...
Post by: sWalker on September 04, 2011, 10:44:19 pm
Attackers-2002         Defenders-1002
                  Post Battle
Attackers-1298         Defenders-0

The massive tsardom of DRZ, hired out the best warrior mercenaries from the lands of the West and met us out on the open field.  They ran us down like dogs with their heavy horses, most times before the sWalker could even grab the trusty long bow.  These warriors fought like they never have before, embarrassing our army that has seen few losses over the many campaigns.  The sWalker is badly injured, both in body and in spirit...but the sWalker will never stop fighting.

The sWalker salutes the skill of the worthy enemies that fought in this battle...true warriors are gods in the sWalker's eyes...not allies or enemies.

The sWalker will surely rise again, greater and more terrifying than ever before. Such is the way of the sWalker.

I admire the sWalker's bravery, even when faced with a lance to the head he never once tried to run.

Good battle guys, the Fallen (and sWalker) archers gave us cavalry players a hard time with the excellent pike support and their hillside tactics.

i was hoping you guys would run out of warhorses after we killed like 300 of them :D

I was hoping that would be one of those infamous M&B super hilly maps, or at least we'd get a spawn more like DRZ's. The lower slopes of that cliff behind our spawn seemed like the only thing that even slowed down the endless waves of horses. Perhaps sooner or later, killing horses will also be credited towards the exp ticks. Killing all those expensive horses actually would've been a bit more of a bright side of the battle if you weren't about to lose them anyway. *Puts ice on the hoof shaped bruises covering ever inch of my body*

We started with I think 150 and ended up with about 60 left at the end, not bad in my opinion.

Was fun fighting the cavalry on that open part near our spawn. Although the amount of times I spawned only to get instantly couched was getting tiring  :P Headshotting guys off heavy horses is a laugh. But was a good cav fight out there until we ran out of horses.

Bit of a crappy place for a spawn but good battle all the same  :)

I didn't do most of the hiring or unhiring for the battle, so I never even saw that you had signed up in the first place. But I supposed it worked out well enough for you, I can't imagine you would've wanted to be crushed under endless cav with the rest of us. I'm a bit surprised you would've signed up for us in the first place, didn't think your grudge againist Loki and all things Fallen would allow it.

traitor?  I think Cardinal Richilieu said it best. 'Treason is merely a matter of dates'.  i don't recall seeing you at Yruma castle helping NE or any of the battles.
HEHE captain i start a clan every other week is trying to insult me?

Help you? Why? We were locked in by Fallen and dealing with our own problems. We didn't apply to the fight because most of us were not on and the ones who were figured you had it covered considering you and hospitallers have shit ton of members.

Also, in the Northern Empire ATS and Hospitallers were the main target, Eastern Tsardom no one had a problem with. Why would we waste our troops and money on you for your own doings. Get over it cry baby, you got wiped and now you're all mad. You were also EXTREMELY outplayed in almost every fight you guys had. I was never sure why ATS bought you your own gear as it was a extremely huge waste of money.

You were treated like a down syndrome kid that got everything he wanted.

For the record we were in the majority if not close to all NE fights beside when FCC attacked Yruma.

Well, not insult, so much as determine if you were too drunk to remember your late night conversation with Loki and Chaos, well before the war was even truly underway.

That's not from Richelieu, it's from Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord.
