Title: Good Warband mods?
Post by: Leshma on September 04, 2011, 05:09:00 pm
Too lazy to search forums for such thread so I made a new one.

I'm interested in mod with no or minimal amount of grind which has fancy weapons and armors.

I heard about Vikingr and Persistent World but haven't tried them.

Native is cool but aside duel servers everyone plays ranged or cavarly, just like in c-rpg...

Thing is that games with little or no progress (grind) get boring quite fast. Like vikingr, got bored of it in like 4 hours

In that case, what about Persistant World?

About progress, even if I continue to play c-rpg that would be STF alt and there is no progress in there.

I heard cRPG is pretty decent if you don't mind the vicious community and inept devs.

Persistent World is funny for Roleplayer and has an Bank-System ... but you should go on the NA-Server, on EU you will only get killed by mindless CoD-Zombie-Kids ...

No grind to level up, there are no levels. You still make your own build however - and the archery sucks ass in it

Its basically a persistant native, with slower combat, less archers, less cavalry and alot more items.

EDIT: Plus its alot harder to gather gold on this, so you make think the no level system gets boring, its fun to grind towards an item. AND there is a chance you can permanently keep another's weapon when you kill him/her.

Thank you, that is exactly what I was looking for. Persistent items so I don't have to change gear every round but no leveling or heirlooming.

I don't know Equester very well aside from seing him on battlefied but he seems like a cool guy, for Oberyn I can say only best things.

I think that you guys are awesome and that you do your job very well. Everything bad I said about you was me trolling, nothing more. Sorry 'bout that.

Community is super cool but only those regular people in clans. Others are well.. just like random people in real life, in most cases is better to avoid them.
