Why you nerfed them,thay were almost useless,now theyre really useless :(

And by nerf you mean they increased the damage of Steel bolts so crossbow shots do more damage then ever?

More damage? Last time I checked (yesterday) they dealt 6 pierce. Looks normal to me.

I've never played as a crossbowman but it's really not work having normal bolts if this is the case.

Drop 6 damage for 3 more ammo..? Something doesn't seem right there to me!

I don't think your crossbow does much without bolts, bro.

Just use steel bolts, 3 ammo is not that much of a difference with a crossbow. If you run out(I rarely did on my crossbow spec) you should be a hybrid and just go melee.

In that case, considering normal bolts are dirt cheap, not a bad deal.

But yeah, normal bolts doing 0 does seem a bit weird.

Finally a normal man,some time ago,normal boltst had 2 damage,I was using them on my hunting crossbow spammer alt,so I need more ammo

Normal bolts used to do 2 damage and steel bolts did 8. See images:

2 top crossbow damage was increased though. The rest stayed the same.

I wonder if people have noticed the other subtle changes to other weapons? I like how the changes were sneaked in.

Personally I say that "bolt" should be +0 damage, same as "arrows" now are +0 damage. After all, "arrow" and "bolts" should be the NORMAL ammunition, and only stuff that are BETTER or WORSE should have any change. Like Bodkin is +6 and steel bolts are +6. And bent/rusty/whatever is -1/2/3 or whatever. It just makes more sense.

I also think they increased the damage of the crossbows/bows, but if you say they only did that on the top end, then that's a bit unfair. Then again it's not like we get THAT much info from the devs when a new release comes out. I'm happy if they even say "items values were changed".
