You only pay upkeep for the items you are wearing at the start of the round or items that you pick up during a round.

If you spawned with em you pay the repairs, no matter even if you drop em at the start of the round.

You only pay upkeep for the items you are wearing at the start of the round or items that you pick up during a round.

You can pick weapons all you want as long you drop em before round ends. But if you keep em and spawn into next round with em you pay the repairs.

If I put auto repair off, I guess I won't have to repair a weapon I picked up from the ground the previous round? Since I don't own it full time, it doesn't matter if it gets damaged anyway.

That is a good question.  I wonder if it gets put on your tab?

Maybe the original owner gets a degraded weapon.  That would suck, you'd have to explain yourself, there might be a lawsuit, even.
