I just saw it on the news, and I live in San Diego.

Good Lord, if my '94 Honda Accord was being damaged by some juveniles (So long it's nothing serious, and the windshield isn't broken by the rocks), I'll just let that pass, but having a crossbow and deal with this the old school way?

Well, not sure if I approve of this, but, somehow, I am pleased :mrgreen:. I would have just called the cops or talk to the boy's parents if possible, but consider that at the time the juvenile might just run away and and think he could do this to anyone's car. Still, I wouldn't have used such deadly force against the youth of society.

This is what happened when he got bored on his holidays, he went for a better one. It's worse than sandle and socks on a beach... You give the British a bad name Pebbles... *sigh*

Attitudes like yours are why we have lifetime offenders.  Throwing small rocks and pebbles one day turns into heaving boulders off an interstate overpass the next day that end up killing people.

I knew someone would respond like this and I'm not here to get into a debate, but note that "Nobody has been arrested."

How will that juvenile look at this? Once he grows up, he might believe that shooting a child in defense of personal property is legal and maybe ten years from now on we'll see "Boy throws rocks at cars and ends up getting shot to death"

And here will be his justification "I threw a rock at someone's car ten years ago and got shot by a crossbow. Why can't I do the same to protect my own property?"

That is why I'd rather seek justice through law enforcement rather than taking the laws into my own hands. Everyone has their own point of view, this is far too extreme in my opinion.
