Title: Fittable 1h'er with my 21/15 build

Hello!

Looking for a good 1h'er fittable with this build (non looms) :

Currently using Italian Sword but I want to be able to hit fast and 1-2hit most people and I feel like this sword just ain't gonna cut it. Right now it takes atleast 3+ hits to kill someone (with average armor and up) and I feel that's wee bit to much since I'm mostly being killed in 2. Been thinking about trying Steel Pick but since it's so short I'm not sure whether it's an alternative with this build, or am I wrong?

Hmm 1h don't usually 2 hit most people. That's a 2h thing to do.

If you don't care about stabbing; the Military Cleaver has good speed, good length, 35 cut and it looks SEXY.

With 7 PS I should be able to 2hit atleast some? Now, I am only doing that on for example peasants (with very low armor I might add).

against light/no armor you can probably 1-2 hit most people with Italian sword, but cut damage does reduced damage against armor so if you really want to 1-2 hit heavy armored people (and let's be honest you aren't going to get much better than 2-4 hitting w/ a 1H) go for the steel pick.

with lower athletics, reach of your weapon becomes more important.  try out military hammer & pick.  5 reach makes a big difference

My deadly steel pick with 7 ps kills people in 1-2 hits.

Normal steel pick still does lots of damage, give it a try.

I've become quite a fan of the warhammer recently. Hits hard, has knockdown and even sports a thrust attack to help fight maulers.

97 speed isnt slow. its average.  thats why you have a shield to trade blows with people.  sure it may be a tad harder to land a hit on someone but you have about a 15-25% chance of knocking them down for a free hit, more than makes up for it

I dont bother with warhammer cuz its so short, unless you are using light shield and have 7 athletics people just kite you with your nub for a weapon

Everything 1her is good on 21/15 tbh.
Find whatever fits your style of play more. Do you like reach / speed/ damage? Find the weapon that fits what you want.

for stabbing: espada enslavona (the long is... how can I say... at higher cost and less stab damage but it,s long, balance yourself)

for slashing: steel pick (be aware of its low reach this is the reason why I don't use it)
grosse messer : sexy, high slash damage (34) high speed (99) and a tiny cute little stab to confuse your foe!
iron war axe: not a lot of people use this cause of is low length but it's the 1h with the most damage (perfect for shielder)

and the spamming bitch queen
the elite scimitar as i say spamm is your ally and you'll 2-3 hit almost every non aware people (cause it length is awesome)

so here mine suggestion feel free to pick up whatever you want tougth.

I concur with this.  The piercing damage is what makes it such a beast, and its quick too.

I used this same build last gen, the 5 athletics means you can face hug and use the "steel pick to the face" technique.

I wore much lighter armor though, with heavy armor like you are thinking about you might need a longer range weapon.

Steel picks are gay and easy mode. If you want to be a real man grab a sword, like NCS or Military Cleaver.

I play exactly that build, 21/ 15.
You wont 2 hit many ppl anyways, not even with 8 ps. But you can tank like mad with this build ;-)

For real easymode:
Warhammer or military hammer.
U ll get so many knockdowns with ps7 !!!

Manly way: Knightly arming sword
(Bestestest allrounder)
NCS trades 4 pierce for 1 cut.
NCS is a no go.

Steel pick < military pick
More reach is pure comfort, believe me.

I really liked the fast swords 100+ speed that were between 85-90 length like Nuiweidao.  With 7 PS they mess up ppl in mail and everything below.  But also carry your blunt to kill tincans.

98 speed is pretty good for a 1h. When I use a shield it's a 100 speed shield, so I don't have any trouble getting hits in. The only thing you have to be carefull with is right-left swings vs anyone with a 95 speed or higher polearm/2h. They will hit you first just by spamming.
The reach doesn't bother me, as I play siege and the warhammer doesn't get stuck in walls. Something that seems to happen with the 92 length langes messer quite often.

Something I feel worth mentioning, is to use the left and over head swings for more damage, as you will more often than not connect with the head. This is a major benefit to 1h users, and adds great killing power. Hitting with these two swings will take down opponents much faster than with right swings or stabs (unless you have a sword made for piercing).
