Free Companies of Calradia
 and
 The Kingdom of Veluca
have agreed
 to enter into a
 mutual defense pact.
  May an attack on one be considered an attack on all.

I guess, you'll have to join one side or another, geographically you are on the east side, but i don't see you join former enemies, like fallens?

It seems strat v2 will end like strat v1, two big alliances fighting (or not) each others.

This is a bit surprising/ironic. I remember a certain individual saying how much he hated large clans banding together and helping one another out when giving his reasoning for attacking the NE. In any case, an interesting turn of events.

This is not an alliance. If one party starts some random war then the rest are not obligated to help (though they may depending on talks). This is merely a Defense Treaty so that if some other large alliance/tiny squirt attacks one of us, the rest will defend.

Think of this as a clause/protection against a certain large alliance steamrolling the parties involved.

Yeah, its sad to see 7 large to very large clans essentially allied together.  Doesn't leave much room except to form counter-agreements to defend.  I think most of us would rather have individual clans vying back and forth as it would be a more enjoyable game but when almost 60% of the EU playerbase is in one alliance, it makes it difficult.
