Title: >>Life saving reverting (choice)<<
Post by: Black Wind on August 30, 2011, 08:57:11 am
Hey all.

I couldn't help but think that it'd be truly badass if you could revert a change made to your character in a 24-hour rollback.

If a person accidentally, "sells a loom" or STF's on a gen 4 or so character, I think it'd be a lifesaver if the person who makes this mistake could choose to roll his character back by 24 hours once a day.

Good idea? I think it'd be great! :P

Cheers, PK_Sudan.

This is a really good idea. It would solve any build or item mistakes +1

Could be abusable, what happens to sold loomed items?

Two options; 1 or the other. I prefer 1.
1. The trade on the marketplace continues, hence, not being reversed and following through.
2. The trade is rolled back too, as if it never happened, the original item bearer retains his gear, and vice versa.

Erm, it's not a bad idea, I'd just hate to see it overly used.

Maybe the first time is free, but every other time costs some sort of a fee?...

This.

How so? Providing the trade complication is solved

Good idea, pehaps a base cost of 5,000 gold each time after the first? Or +1,000 each time, resetting when you retire?

Does that sound reasonable?

Because you could make some change for a specific battle, then revert to orignal state.

But seriously, with all the mistakes that have been done by many ppl, and all the whine on forum, if devs wanted to implement such thing it will be already done.

Pfft... Give it a one-week cool down like STF then... Because all the possible future whine about this wouldn't exist. It's necessary, AND it's a solution to an increasingly large issue.

It would completely screw trades over, especially cross-trades. You could also respec/STF every day to try a new build or play a different class in strategus and have your char back in 24h.

Hmm... Good point... Perhaps make it more evident which character you have selected? Like one of my PK_ boys accidentally deleted his archer last friday lol so yeah, thats what sparked this idea.

Atleast a sell item confirmation, so you don't accidentally sell looms?
