It allows them to circumvent some of the hard coded stuff and add various other"stuff".

I dont get it, i thought WSE was something that did not exist yet, but you just posted a D/L link to it.  We always read 'we can change blah blah when WSE comes'...so how is that the case if it already exists?

cmpxchg8b, are you still adding in more features to it or something?  Work in progress trying to bypass hardcoded stuff?

Was wondering this as well.

When will WSE be implemented? Seen cmpx videos on youtube with alot of improvements but there seems to be no word from it lately.

I would rather prefer that they all drop the new game mode Stronghold for now and put Strategus 2 on hold for now and concentrate on WSE.

It exist since quite a while, although I'm always working on new features. It hasn't yet been added to cRPG because that requires code changes and probably a better distribution system too.
However, we'll be soon testing some server-side-only features (one of them being the removal of botched hit detection for allies).

So, you are allowed with WSE to change ingame hardcode modifying it in real-time?
And.. how hardcode works? Can you see it but you're not allowed to change? Or it's like an encryption?

It's a very interesting feature. We hope to see it soon.

Thanks for info, helps clarify things.  Keep up the good work

I have a WSE related question.

Is there a chance that the non-registering or false block directions bug can be sorted with WSE?

It's a Thorn in my side for days, really. I block a hit, but my dueling partner says that I didn't block or it was a wrong block. On my screen it was fine, yet it goes through.

Thank you.

Don't think that's a bug, more like a lag issue or something.

Ah, okay.

Still a fix would be awesome for it.
