Just contact the devs first so they know why you are using two keys.

I think the only way possible to play on 2 different cd-keys on a single computer is to go in regedit>ctrl+f=warband>serial key>enter cd-key of the copy you want to play on. Or will he play on a different computer? I dont understand completely.

he will play on the same pc, but i don't know, he wants to have a second steam account as well. is that possible? second steam account with second warband?

That should work. It'd be a new CD key and all.

Yes, it works. My friend logged his steam on my PC and was able to play on his chars without problems.
