Which one?

The Katana

I have to agree with this. Heirlooming something just to see it nerfed in the next patch is quite frustrating.

I think a good example would be someone who was once an archer going through the phases with changes to bows and projectiles should be given the option to respec their heirlooms because the class they originally wanted to play completely changed.
-
I think a fair compromise is to allow changing one heirloom when you retire in addition to choosing a new item to heirloom when you retire.
-
No, but you should be able to get heirloom changes for nerfed/changed items.

This, but it shouldn't necessarily be when the item itself is nerfed, when the heirloom modifiers for your heirloomed item are nerfed, we should get a re-roll as well. My masterwork long hafted blade had ~1/3 of it's damage bonus removed, and there is nothing I can do about it. If I knew this was going to be the case, would have heirloomed a German Poleaxe to masterwork instead.

I think a guy who wants to play archer will stick to it no matter what, wouldnt he? Anyways, if you want reheirloom your masterwork items, you are quite high generation already, so with them XP bonuses, go grind 31 and then heirloom, rinse repeat :D
Ofcourse it sucks when you get unintentionally nerfed weapon, but hey, i guess its easier to let it go than to let some ppl respec their items again. And, as some other guys said in other topics: heirloomed items are not an I-WIN button.
(having just balanced german sword myself for now, should get masterwork soon, and even tho they made it slower, i dont mind, it still pwns :)))

Heirloom change should be implemented bu there must be a penalty for it, for example -1 modifier for reforging.

Tho we were able to respec after the major update, so there is no need to cast this poll isn't it?
Also if Fasader and his band lay hands on my precious again I'll cry.
