To make killing really like rewarding, give like 1000-5000xp from every kill. It would really encourage ppl to really try more. =) please

no 5000xp for per kill, i think 100xp enough. 10 kill 1000 extra xp.

somehow I misread this and read it as 'Extra HP from every kill' which would be kinda cool. Like the barbarians in D&D 4e, give temporary hit points for a kill that fade over 15 seconds or something. Like a morale/adrenaline injection.

I never understanded why people says this "tk fest" shit, you should gain xp only for killing ENEMIES and you should get nothing from friendly tk's that's all meh... -.-

because if you had bothered to search the topic, you'd know. it rewards kill whoring instead of doing objectives, duh.

I don't see how this would be a bad idea. Give no bonus from TKs (duh, the devs aren't complete idiots). If it's possible give the reward to the person who did the most damage, do that. If you have x1, the reward is 5k, x2 4k, etc. etc. Give a reduced bonus on siege, maybe 20-30%, as peasants are numerous. While I'm thinking about peasants, give no reward for kills against players who are under level 20.

When ppl win xp/gold per kill they enter in a search for kill frenzy, they don't care of their teammate they want to be the one to make the kill and win more, then you see more Tk, also it doesn't promote teamwork and support class are disavantadged.
I guess these are some of the reasons why there is no xp/gold per kill at the moment.

A lot of people played, very few complained. Why don't you just admit that you didn't like how thing were going and that you decided to change it.

Well, peasants were new and didn't know the forum, so of course they couldn't come and complain. :rolleyes:
But add this, and i'll be a full-cav. I won't care about upkeep since killing 3 afk/unaware low-level players each round will keep me positive.

Extra xp from kills = kill whores lvl up faster? what about ppl like me? i do the objectives support my team and do alot of damage to alot of people but i normally dont get kills. bad idea.

Current system is good (With addition of Valour chadztext it's even better imho.).
It maybe need some tweaks to encourage people to do something positive to team instead of playing like a retard,leech,TK,do not contribute and get the same rewards as others.But besides these problems it is good.Idk if its possible but reward system like multiplayer FPS games which include Rank system (Like battlefield series) would suit this game so nicely.

chadz, then how about +xp per enemy kill and - multi for tk? Yeah, I know, there will be always idiots who jumps into swings, but do you know a better system? Atm, there are a shitload of tk's (like in the very old first reward system, but at least there was + and - xp), and nobody gets nothing from it....there would not be any change with a reward system imo. +xp would encourage players, that's true, but a hard punishement also discourages them. Like, you are in a full x3 loomed tincan with falmberg?, get x5 then do 4 tk and enjoy your x1.
Edit: Come on, we don't have admins for no reason, every retard swing jumper should be kicked or banned.

What do you mean, admit? As if I'm trying to hide something? Of course I didn't like how things were going. It was the most horrible gameplay every, and I was about to just leave the mod. Killwhores got levels faster, resulting in killwhoring more. Normal people or peasants got behind and could never catch up. People were stacking AGI so they could outrun teammates and fight enemies alone for the XP. People were trying all kinds of tricks to prevent their teammates from getting into a fight. It was one fucked up gameplay.
Then came the area of xp, which had it's trouble too, but was far, far, far better than the xp per kill system.
So yeah, never, ever, xp per kill. Don't even bother.

guys, it could be just like some 250xp. Ppl or atleast i wanna have the fealing that i'm just little bit closer to my goal when i kill a dude. And ye you gave a lot of good points why it was removed =) thx for that

Yeah, glad I didn't play when you got XP from a kill.
And 250 xp for a kill would be LOTS. It doesn't have to be any more than 5 additional XP for people to start doing stupid shit to get it.

People already do all kinds of things to get a kill, even without any rewards.

When I first started playing cRPG I was wondering why there was no XP per kill, but not long into it I saw why this is a bad idea - at least for Siege. People already don't defend key points (primarily flag) enough as it is. If you added XP-per-kill it would even be less, and the ones that play smarter and DO guard key points like back doors, ladder holes, flag, etc would basically be penalized for not allowing a couple of ninjas from taking the map. Minus-XP-per-TK would be great in Siege though, possibly.
XP-per-kill / minus XP-per-TK might work in Battle mode. Except that would probably turn things into a Cav-fest. For instance, I know I can get more kills as Cav but I enjoy Infantry Melee more - hence I stay melee. You would probably see alot of people swap to Cav just for the added XP.

you forgot the "high" repair cost for horses many (new) people are afraid of the unkeep for them
and im for xp bonus but just for battle -xp in siege would be great in my opion but i think the siege guys wouldnt be happy about this
