Title: Sheild Lancer help
Post by: LAGIACRUS on August 24, 2011, 02:15:32 am
With a cookie cutter sheild+ lance build, such as huscarl + awlpike, do you want higher agility for maneuverability or stick to hard hitting higher strength? any cookie cutter build i could work off of will help.

1 Weight helmet
9.5 weight body armor
.5 weight hand armor
.8 weight boots
will yield a 126-127 weapon proficiency in throwing
and 26 weapon proficiency in polearms or two handed.

This armor set up will allow you to pick up your thrown lances and under.

Your build would be 135 and about 28-29 polearms or two handed

How about my build i made for you, took me thirty minutes
SET UP
Body armor 10 weight Byrine
Helmet armor Huscarls helm 2 weight
mail gauntlets .5
mail chausses boots 1.8

Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)

Strength: 21
Agility: 15
Hit points: 56
Skills to attributes: 2
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 7
Shield: 5
Athletics: 5
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 7
Weapon Master: 5

Polearm: 95 = with armor to be 85 enough to be useful in combat
Throwing: 125 = with armor to be 112 enough to throw and retrieve lances

Any powerthrow your throwing weapon proficiency cant cover due to low weapon master or heavy armor is a useless skill point.
More power throw without proficiency will give no gain in damage or accuracy.
