Title: MW light crossbow turns into MW arbalast (reloading speed)

before when i had my MW light crossbow with 1 wpf it reloads pretty fast. But now after the patch it shoots slow and reloads slow!

nope it is bug , i have mw arbalest and it shoot after 30 sec and reloads like 2 min, and i have 150 wpf in xbows :evil:

yea ive seem to have the exact same problem, hunting crossbow with 115 WPF takes 16 seconds to reload.

There's a very slow reload animation and also a problem with releasing bolts at times.

EDIT: re-installed both the complete download then the hotfix, works fine, try doing the same if you're experiencing the bug.

did you delete the whole folder and then do it?

i have a friend who just patched and it's busted

in fact he just uninstalled warband, reinstalled warband, reinstalled crpg, and it's still fucked

Yeah, my game is totally broken. I have 98 crossbow skill and if I press the button to fire, my character thinks about it for like 8 seconds and then finally shoots. Reloading takes about a million years. The game is basically unplayable.

ok, he fixed it.

Here's the issue.  The hotfix and the patch are two different things.

He downloaded the whole 0.234 patch and tried to play, and it didn't work.  Then I pointed him to the hotfix, entitled cRPG_update.zip, in the Announcements topic, and after getting that his crossbow worked fine.

We both kind of wish that it was plainly laid out exactly what needed to be done to get to the latest version somewhere other than a forum thread that you have to hunt down (for instance, the "Latest version download" topic actually refers to the previous version, 0.233)
