I agree. Saturday and Sunday would be ideal days.

On topic, I don't think there should be a no-upkeep day. You can play on a server not hooked up to the database and play with Any gear, you don't get exp or gold for it. The way it should be -- the way it is.

You don't have to follow the metagame and try to max your KDR while playing. Do stuff that is FUN. This is a game after all.
Try stuff that is fun like this:
Dress up as a cook and go cut people with a knife
Pretend to be a bush: Wear all green, hide in a bush with a battlefork. Ambush people.
Get 6 of your friends together and walk around with all of the same ridiculous weapon (pikes, great mauls, Everyone using a huscarl and not attacking until you surround and start kicking the enemy to death, etc)
Make a STF character that is a 36/3 Torch bearer (or use a practice sword)
You know what I did yesterday? Ran around in a dress stabbing people with a dagger from horseback.

I can create a server on my modem but its not funny. I want play with crpg people. XP and gold still coming but no repairs. All lose their gold too fast and cant use their items. Especially horse users lose 600-800k gold and they cant use their builds.

Get repairs lower or give, no repair day.

Would advantage people who are able to play this days while people who can't because of work school or life mode while be disadvantaged. No repair Week every two month would be better

Unless you are riding a very expensive horse or wearing plate, upkeep isn't an issue. All of my characters wear mid-tier gear and I make TONS of gold. You don't need expensive gear to be effective.

I top the charts often on my main and I only use 32k in gear on that character. WAY under the 45k you can manage with an average multi of 2x. If anything, the high-tier gear still pays too little in upkeep...

Regardless, something like this isn't needed.

Im one of thoese people who didnt molest the no upkeep bug and havent begun trading my heirlooms for gold on the market so yeah im broke half of the time.

Wouldnt mind sundays without upkeep dont really have time to grind a gold buffer now that i started school again.

Make a 9 PT stone thrower, it completely destroys any feeling of routine.

I guess it could work. But there would be a huge issue all lower level players, be it their level or the quality of equipment they have, would get owned every time by clan members and would only get x1 unless they get on the clan team, fat chance though (we all know how much the auto balance sucks)  what i recommended instead of lowering repair cost is to raise the amount of xp and money u get on said day.
