hallo, i wanted to ask if someone could explain how the items editor (openBRF editor) works and i can overwork armors?
<3

i think open brf is only for viewing brf files, you cant edit them, for editing you would need wings3d or blender , or some program like that.
-
i just downloaded a program i can just see all the items and not edit them?
bullshit..well does anyone know where i can find such editors?
i want to make new light armors or edit them :*

Google wings3d or blender.

Indeed.
I use OpenBRF for creating sets of armour for preview. For that it works well.

Both "wings3D" and "blender 3D" are free 3D modelling programs and can be found using google. Wings is easier/more intuitive however you can animate in blender. You can export/import model from and to the game, and rig armours (usually very well) using openBRF.
If you just want to reskin armours make a copy of the texture file and repaint it using an art program: "paint.NET" is free and OK and lets you save *.dds files.

I allways wonder how people can read posts from gazda.

You can easily override armors in openBRF. It's what I used to have my bow conversion from the new cRPG converted to the old Warband ones. IE lets say you download an Open Source Package that includes ready available armor from taleworlds. It's in another BRF etc. You can copy the model data from that BRF and override in cRPG's one choosing which armor you want to replace as it. Make sure you take the textures from the other BRF and put it in cRPG also!

i still dont knowhow it works..
i want to work on existing models from native. i found the BRF files and they seem to be packages where the models and/or textures are included. the question is now:
how can i edit and safe a native model (not for ingame use), just editing it and saving it ?
-
Use openBRF and export it as a 3d model extension then use whatever to edit it.
