Title: Crash - picking up weapons

Whenever I pick up items (thrown weapons / arrows), I get a crash to desktop probably 1 in 10 to 1 in 20 times.  No error message, M&B just shuts down.  Running a texture mod (approved on one of these threads), and that's it.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or is this just a M&B bug?

step1: remove said texture pack and play game. still crashing?
