Title: 21/18 or 18/21 as archer??

all the question is in the title. this is my first archer (it's an alt) and I just wanted to know wich one I should do.

here are my two build

Strength: 21
Agility: 18
Hit points: 56
Skills to attributes: 8
Power Strike: 4
Athletics: 6
Power Draw: 7
Weapon Master: 6
One Handed: 44
Archery: 152

P.S. I don't want any other built (for the attribute) this is suppose to be an archer, not an hybrid. also I'll use warbow/Yumi and maybe longbow

18/21 if you want to be accurate with the ability to run.

It's actually 154 WPF for archery. Either build looks fine to me, I'd take the 21 str though.

I'm currently going 18/21 horn bow/longbow just like your build except I put all my wpf points into archery and stick with 1 wpf for melee.

Honestly I think the 18 agi was ok, the extra wm and ath is probably not needed so if I'd do it again I'd probably go for the 21/18 build instead.

This one works well though, so you certainly won't be gimping yourself.

both builds are fine - you will have to experiment anyways which build fits your playing style best. Archer != Archer ;-)

Last gen I was 21/2422, not bad actually, and it really helps you focus on arching, since you have no ath, PS or any other of the neglectible stuff... :)

was this with a build focusing on level 31+?  I don't understand how you can do this effectively with a level 30 build.

you read my mind, but actually it was a typo. I went 21/22 with the intention of going to 21/24 at higher levels, which I will do when I get tired of retiring and dicking around with heirloomed woolen caps... ;-)

ok as I can figure now, there is two major line of tougth in archery:

1: the agi archer for tactical retreat
2: the str archer for major damage

I must say the 18/21 archer was my favorite before earing you but now the 21/18 seems attractive (just to stop earing '' your arrow does nothing!'')

also the built by marathon look pretty funny but I fear the wpf... it's a built to test but i'll go with a moderate built first.

therefore I must admit i think i'll go with  21/18 but another built, inspired by hirlok one look very tempting...

so hirlok maybe i'll try your buil in this version:

so, infortunaly it's too late for the hirlok moderate build by isatis because I already put too much in ath and in ps (but if you convince me I'll maybe think of respec before it is too late (i'm lvl 18 now and this is an alt)

also hirlok : an heiroomed woolen cap?! you are my hero!! (and certainly poophammer hero, say that to him and he'll harass you until he can have it...)

Honestly you'll only be out a few hours of time if you respect now.. it's still a long road to 30 from there! :)
