I have a ton of alts. I also have a dumptruck full of money on my main that I have no use for. Why don't we allow the transfer of gold from mains to alts. That way, when I feel like taking a break from my main, I can play my alt without having to worry about grinding gold. It's not like alts can shop on the marketplace anyway and it adds a needed gold sink.
What say ye?

Only alt transfer I can get behind. Not exploitable in any way and as you say it adds another good money sink to the game.

Should only be alts giving to main if other way there be no need for new chars to even fight. Witch would not happen other way around since its your main char and u need to impress people (clans) :D :D

I have the reverse situation. I have a some money from my alts (not that much but enough to make me sad it's just sitting there uselessly). I wouldn't mind giving it to my main since I really have bought all I'm ever going to get with my alts so the money is pretty much wasted. I know it won't be allowed though.

If you can transfer gold from alts to main it would be ridicilous. Because you dont pay repairs with gen1 chars until level26 and you save a lot of money. It can cause an exploit

Gen 1 Main < level 25 = funded alts for all time.
Whoops, hit 26? Time to delete and make a new main.
For the people who don't particularly care about strat this would be a godsend and amazingly exploitable.

Totally see what you say here and I'm sure the devs could stop transfers of characters who are gen 1 and under level 26. However though, why wouldn't people just exploit this on their main instead of the hassle of transferring to an alt?

I thought the idea was the transfer was only one way main --> alt.
If that were the case, people who aren't interested in strat or are waiting until there's more stability could easily fund a character of each class type. Beyond that "main" doesn't really main anything other than strat and marketplace access. Mains would become the new alt and alts the new main except with more versatility and a ton more money.
If it were restricted to gen 2 characters and above that would be something, but there's something else that's bothering me about the idea that i just can't put my finger on. A loophole of some sort. Meh.

Then make it for only certain level alts can give to the main like level 26 or higher. This is to make sure money u make don't go to wast on one char when u choose the other to be main.
