With the latest patch bows do cut damage. In the game, arrows do not display a damage type. On the cRPG site, arrows display the damage type as piercing.
Do arrows do piercing damage on top of the bow's cut damage, or do they simply add (cut) damage? I believe that arrows add damage of the same type as the bow, not piercing damage. I do not think the game engine is coded to handle mixed damage types, nor do I have any reason to suspect it is capable of doing so.

I'm pretty sure it does pierce damage on top of the cut damage...unless somebody can prove me wrong?

There are a number of discrepancies between the website and the actual game (ammunition damage type, shield size, weapons without a thrust having a 0 pierce thrust attack). As far as I'm aware, ammunition for any weapon has never had any effect on the damage type of the weapon that was using it.

If use another words - here is only faith and here is no knowledge.
"I am pretty sure" and "as far..." it's is opinion.
Can any one please give us not an impression, guesses and e.t.c., but real info how it is now ?

The launcher determines the damage type of the projectile.
In the case of bows, they deal cut damage, so regardless of the damage type on arrows, it's always cut damage dealt.
-
So -if I correct understood - here is no diff. what type of dmg have arrows, type of resulting
dmg will be defined by "launching" device?

To be honest, I think even chadz does't know without doing a code-review.

He does know it. The dmg type of the bow decides the dmg. Arrow dmg does not influence it.
There were serveral discissions in the past about just doing som different dmg types on the arrows to balance archery while still using one and the same bow, but as I said, dmg type is determined by bow (hardcoded).
