Hello guys... so i was going to retire and start being a 2h .. i have player a 26 str 6 agil 2h and liked it very much but it was just too slow for me :lol: so here is my build that I was thinking of using and I hope this build has the extra speed I wanted and still packs enough punch with the 7PS using a longsword.... tell me what you think :D
* Strength: 21
* Agility: 18
* Hit points: 70
* Converted: 6
* Ironflesh: 7
* Power Strike: 7
* Athletics: 6
* Weapon Master: 6
* Two Handed: 157

get something differant like 12/27 or 15/24 24/15 etc
-
I intend on going the main stream route since I have been doing crazy builds for my entire play time.. I want something that is all round good ^^

The build you suggested is very good, but you'll need lvl 31 for the last three points in IF.
-
didnt think about that... mmhm

You could try this. This is my current favorite build and it works fantastically. You don't really need more than 130 wpf unless you're wearing plate anyway.
* Strength: 21
* Agility: 18
* Hit points: 70
* Converted: 8
* Ironflesh: 7
* Power Strike: 7

* Weapon Master: 3

That looks more like it.. thanks a lot uncle rusty!
-
I'd rather take WPF than 3 extra IF..
-
Don't i end up with the 3 extra IF and 6 WPF anyways at level 31??

Why you need IF? You said you ain't gonna be wearing plate. I don't get why people make such a fuss over 14 HP, if you don't block you're gonna die no matter how much HP you've got. Better convert those 6 SP into 3 str and make 24/18.

I'm enjoying my current respec from hybrid archer to speedy 2hander (this is a lvl 30 build, 31 will have 21str and 7ps):
* Strength: 20
* Agility: 21
* Hit Points: 55
* Power Strike: 6
* Athletics: 7
* Weapon Master: 6
* Two Handed: 154
Can wear heavy armor and still be faster than most on NA. I made a STF 1 handed char that has 8 Athletics as a test build before respecing and would have gone with 8 athletics this build but found the extra points in Weapon Master to be a lot more beneficial in being able to deal with some of the faster/more skilled melee fighters. The only people that take a good amount of hits are the fully plated ones and carrying a morningstar makes up the difference in having a lower PS I've found.

Believe me, 7 IF is really noticable.

i have 0 IF
IF is a waste of points

This. I've went a gen without IF as well, not going back to that.
-
I am running a gen without any IF and I have to admit, that I don't really like it (yet). You go down so freakin fast especially now that I only have 15 str. will See how it works when I pass Level 25
-
I think 7 IF is a must for me personally since i have always played with 8 IF -_-
-
Could just use skip the fun and test a build with and without IF and see which you prefer. I have alts for when I'm bored of one play style I can just switch to an alt rather than waiting to retire a current build. Not as efficient for getting heirloom points but I really only play to have fun :)
None of my current builds have IF though, doesn't seem like that big of a hindrance, maybe I get killed in 2 hits instead of 3 or 1 instead of 2. I just see it as incentive to become better at blocking; I'd rather hit harder or move faster than rely on being able to take a little more damage.
-
luks really clouse to mine XD . It is a nice bild , you are capable of 1h kills and still moving fast . Before my las retiremet I use 21/21 even whit full plate run really fast and hit hard .

The point of more IF is to take a few extra arrows. Since with this kind of build you're not carrying a shield it really helps. There's also no point in more WPF unless you are wearing plate. With 6 WM instead of 3, you're only increasing your swing speed by like .02 seconds and it only does an extra point or two of damage at most. I'd rather be able to take a few extra arrows.
-
i've been thinking about this.
tbh if your light armour agi is pretty useless and you can stick to 0 wm, but for my main I want heavy armour so I think I do need wm.
21/18 or 18/21 at lvl 30 with 8 skill points to 4 attr
then at 31 you convert 1 attr to 2 skill points and go up 3 points in IF.
PS: yeah no hp sucks, I had that lvl 30 ninja with 9 str/30 agil no IF and it was worse than most peasants, speed bonus is barely noticable, pain in the ass to grind to 31.
-
Please encourage more people to use 0 ironflesh in their builds, so they are a guaranteed one hit kill to my lance :D
-
Ive just made an alt like so
Level 31 (8 892 403 xp)
Strength: 15
Agility: 24
Hit points: 58
Unused skill points: 0
Attributes to skills: 1
Skills to attributes: 8
Ironflesh: 5
Power Strike: 5
Shield: 0
Athletics: 8
Riding: 0
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 8
Two Handed: 173

7 IF in medium/heavy armor will help you survive quite a few more arrows or friendly hits and about 2 (or even 3) melee hits. I'd say that's quite a lot.

Get some lordly armour and lordly gloves and you can wear medium armour with well over 60 body armour. Couple that with 7 IF and you can take quite a beating.
