Title: Headset mic problem

My microphone in my headset has suddenly stopped being recognised by my comp after being fine for weeks. I know this isnt a tech forum but i figure some guys here might be nice enough to help me  anyway.

Rather than rewrite my entire problem here ill just link to another forum i posted in.

try unplugging it and plugging it back in

Try buying one that isn't over 7 years old.
