Spanish tercios - The inmortal soldiers. The great conquerors. The gold age of Spanish imperium.

Spanish tercios was elite regiments of european soldiers that fought along America and Europe between 1550-1700. They was the most feared soldiers of all europe. Just up, there are two links that show the history of that glorious units.

Tercios is a themed clan, with basic rules:
- We play together.
- We do teamplay.
- We wear the same equipment.
- We don't have archers in our team. Only crossbowmens.

Equipment allowed:
- Morions or chapels.
- All kind of armors (preferred: sarranid guard amor, corrazines, churburgs, scale armor, lamellars)
- Shields (preferred: plate or steel)
- All kind of weapons (preferred: poleaxes & halberds, great swords and flamberges for 2h, renaissence equipment for 1handers like sidesword, eslavona, long eslavona)

Equipment forbidden:
- Archery stuff.

Feel free to join us if you want to belong to a fun clan, of people who want to do teamplay and playing as a historical spanish troops. PM El_infante if you're interested. Everyone is welcome. See you on the servers.

The tag is Tercio_Yourname. Try to get a historical name ;-)

Since there's no arquebuses in the game, you should probably allow crossbows. What's a tercio without a ranged element?

Come on Tears, we already have enough archers in the game, we need more good-looking Conquistadors with steel shield and side sword. :D

hmm that image... its got the spanish flag on the background, thats normal, but then thats where stuff gets wierd, first of all the portuguese (my home country ;D)  flag in the middle of the leon lion and aragon(dunno if its aragon) stripes which dosen't make sense since the portuguese people have terços...

But the wierdest, The russian double headed eagle, why is the russian symbol of power in a flag to do with the spanish elite soldiers? :3

Please explain the picture so I don't get a headache :P
