Title: Minecraft Creations

So everyone loves this game just a lil bit. Whether it's digging for your life, or building something epic. Any one got screenshots of their stuff? Here's mine, after about 6 months of very very on, off construction. I've been building a castle type area.

The Gatehouse:

The Keep in construction. It's a lot more completed than this now. But I built up the walls and then hollowed out the inside, building rooms as I go:

My long term plan is to build an entire fortified town (buildings and all), with a harbour and cathedral out side of the walls.

I will try to get some pics of our Epic Walls and gatehouse that we built without cheating. :)

It was a cunjoction from me, TommMyyY, Vincent Ruth, Tengil, Byrdi and RajRaj.

Hehe cool. Mine is all without cheating. Hence why it's taken so long. It'll probably take at least another 6 months to finish all that I want to do  :lol:

Here's a little "timber house" I built just for fun some time ago on my current map. There's also a big complex on this map, but I left the area to start something new and I can't find any screens of it, even though I'm sure I made some.

I've had the same map since I started minecraft, so these screens don't cover nearly everything. The main base was done completely by me, no cheats except for the massive amounts of tnt needed to blast the caverns and shafts. All the smooth stone and water is natural (not placed by me, I just diverted the water to flow into the same pool). Base number 2 was done by me and a friend with just about all the mats cheated in. The redstone contraptions are for a new puzzle/adventure part I'm making and again the materials were cheated. I don't have the patience to harvest thousands of blocks when I just want to build. Also a pro tip for making screenshots: F1 hides your hud.

Wow, this is really great, I'm impressed.
It also showed me I lack imagination, so no pics from my MC adventures! :D

Hey ovedriven i respect your creations in a sense that they took quite a while to complete but i thing they are too cubic shaped and booring if you could add some different, more creative shapes to them that would be even more awesome

(Perhaps look at the lighthouse of IG_Saint for inspiration)

Wow. That's an impressive amount of stuff. I have been tempted to cheat because yeah, harvesting the stuff takes a LONG time. 90% of my time is digging rather than building, but the sense of reward is great :)

They are meant to be quite blocky and defined because it's a castle walls, towers ect. I'm going to get to the fancy stuff later when I build the harbour/cathedral :)

I've never been that much of a builder. I settle for any roof that keeps me safe from the cunts of the night. I recently found aether mod which suits me perfectly cause I like the adventure part. That didn't go to smooth. Pain in the arse to get the obsidian in the first place to go to nether to get the glowstone. Then when I finally got there the portal was in the first place possible. At the very bottom of one of those islands. At the very edge of it. Ton of trouble to dig my away up in the dark. Get a shelter. Explore my new home island and not a single dungeon anywhere in sight. Also very shitty on the resources too. So I decide to take everything I have and move to a better location. I destroyed the portal so I can set it up in a better place. Off I go and not that far when a yellow degenerate cuntslime sends me off flying to my death. All my stuff gone, portal destroyed.  :twisted:
Also is there any ultimate survival mod that would make mere surviving a challenge?

Finally finished my castle keep! After mining out around 40000 stone blocks (hollowing the mountain) and using 20000 of them for the actual construction, it's done. Here are the screen shots :) It isn't finished with furnishing and random decorative touches yet. I'm going to be adding a lot more wood, but will do that all way later as this took a bloody long time (started it several months ago and been adding to it on and off).

I was building similiar walls and towers in Wookie's minecraft server though i got bored. Yours looks really cool btw.
