Title: TS clan needs help (Web Hosting Request).

 We really want to have our own hosting and domain name, being tired of crappy free forum hosting sites, but we are a bunch of unemployed slobs, is anyone willing to help us out, or know where to point us?


  Does anyone run a server we could pigyback on? Or failing that does anyone know of a cheap webhosting service that wont break the bank?

Does geocities still exists? If you're looking for cheap webhosting, I use justhost. It's $5 per month. I haven't seemed to hit a bandwidth cap yet, and the domain name comes free with the monthly payments. However, the downside may be that your initial payment is for 2 years worth of service. You can cancel at any time and get the unused portion of that back, but the down payment might stop you if you don't currently have that much.

Using Ning is nice for people who are just starting out, as it is pretty easy to manipulate like with Dreamweaver or such, and you can choose your own URL as well as customize amost everything about the site. *shrugs*
