Title: Best 1h polearm for using with a buckler?

there is no such thing as "best"
while supporting teammates id take the awlpike or war spear,  and when engaged in an 1vs1  id just put the shield aside and go twohanded

Also, wrong section.

I'd use a red tassel for it's speed. Should work out nicely with the shieldspeed of the buckler.

They all suck, thanks to the nifty damage penalty. Granted, if you're awesome enough, you can manage an acceptable K:D ratio, however you'll rage as a result of many glancing stabs. Or just not killing people.

I'd say go for the short spear. If you'll notice, it does only like, 1 less pierce damage than the war spear.

Go for Shortened spear with buckler and roleplay a sewing machine.
