It's mostly strategus bugfixes and a few other minor bugfixes.

Shouldn't cause a lot of rage this time.

If none of us fucked up, it should be compatible with the older versions.

- weapon breaking chance because of low wpf is now dependant on level - means if you are lower, you can use lower gear without breaking

I would like to know... :/

Losing a character who I put over 300 hours into and losing it was harsh, even if it was just an alt, but then getting rid of permadeath is just... Talk about a slap in the face. :(

There is a problem with the 60 second delay. I just did a battle with the Farmers vs. 22nd and they spawned a minute before us, went to our spawn with their crossbows, swords, and bows ready. As soon as one of us spawned they just spawn killed us and we lost..... PLEASE FIX

not smart
just had a battle where we captured the enemy spawn before they spawned (we moved back let them spawn, but still, we could have just won right away)
Especially if you use a horse to rush enemy spawn

suggestion
remove this ASAP

What was the purpose of this safety? Since DTVillage was replaced by DTVirgin, it's no longer any exploit possible.
The only problem is that some archers are camping on roofs, but anyway team lose if they don't fight!

this is a complete mess, the attackers didn't attack straight away but they could have taken spawn before any defenders even spawned, plus knowone is spawning...

First patch I've ever been disappointed with. Since all of them. Shame we had to be the guinea pigs of the whole Strategus spawns thing at the cusp of our tiny-clans-fight-the-power moment.  :cry:

I've fought in several village battles, for the defenders, and haven't received and gold payment or xp (we even won a couple : )  .)  Will we get xp and gold for these previous strat battles or just post patch ones?

If they nerfed speed probably is because they found players are chosing more agility builds than strength, this was starting to be like everybody is ninja now.  I have seen people in good armours spaming, jumping and killing like if they were hacked monkeys XD

If people use it a lot,,, Dev nerf it.... this is crpg policy for the moment XD

There isn't any change regarding speed. Some guy mentioned that the strategus spawning issue should be fixed with speed and then some dude who can't read complained about ninja builds.

But there are a lot of different languages on here so maybe he just was confused.

doesnt your coallition have like 60 people in it? TKoV does not have 60 members. p.s. you guys launched that attack right after they took ayyike and had a lot less troops... how is that a fight the power moment? isnt that a run-in-and-try-to-ninja-some-land-in-the-middle-of-a-warzone-moment?

Actually I think its up to over 100+, I do know TKOV is under 30 though....  maybe the bug helped the guys fighting the power??

the post about the new patch was announced at 20.00 for turkey.gmt+2. the battle raven vs ayyike was at 22.00 and there were problems. what should be is not to organize new battles after that.and battles should start after updates not just after the updates

Sorry mate, my mistake, I was assmuing TKoV was part of the FCC, from the support they got. None of our clans are particularly large anyhow. 60... is an estimate. And rosters are deceptive :P

TKoV  :mrgreen: and we have a little over 20 members.  Some of them don't even actively participate in Strat.

I'm also curious about how you fixed spawn. You said the attack spawn chargers would get teleported back. Is it that if you enter a certain radius of the attack spawn or leave a certain radius of the defense spawn, you get sent back to spawn? I'm hoping there's nothing that just lets you wait a certain distance from the enemy spawn and flood them as soon as they spawn.

To make gathering feedback on multiplayer maps easier (for dedicated server owners, as this isn't send to the db) you can [Up]vote or [D]ownvote your favourite maps. To do this, use the Q-menu:

Press 'q' (quick menu) then 'm' (menu) then either 'u' or 'd' (up/down). A message will be displayed. At the moment it's up to dedicated server owners to parse their log files for this, since each server has their own rotation.

The Admins on the server won't go trough the hard work of checking the log files because they just put a rotation up that they like. They don't care about our interests, only theirs.  I mean, why bother?

Well, I guess they intend to, but seeing as how little use people have for the menu system(except for the: CHARGE! spammers);  I don't see why people would start using it now.

Did it ask you to overwrite stuff?

If not, extract it to a "dummy" folder and then drop and drag the contents to c-RPG.

Baggy really knows how to ride that line between awesome troll and autism.  I'm sorry I didn't realize peasants wore churburg and rode around on plated chargers. Those poor downtrodden lower class people =(

No the problem isn't random people exploiting this, its the organized clans that started doing this first having multiple free mammoth tanks driving around crashing into groups at opportune times.  I certainly won't begrudge other clans trying this now as they're just attempting to level the playing field.

chadz is aware of this even if he doesn't figure ou in the first place, imo he'll find a solution.

Problem for this is respec, may be once you respec your char you must pay upkeep even if you are under lvl25.

Sure ppl could create alts to exploit this system, but as said ToD it's only a cRPG problem

I like how a game thats currently subject to wipe at any time is the "real" game. Anyway it does affect strat due to it being abused at the clan level giving the exploiting clans a better 5x train than they could earn other wise which last time I checked means more gold in strat.

chadz is aware of this even if he doesn't figure ou in the first place, imo he'll find a solution.

Oh I'm sure he will too. Every patch since I started playing c-rpg has improved it and kept it moving in the right direction. The devs do an excellent job, I'd say they put out the kind of mod work that gets one hired by valve. In the mean time I'll just have to be disappointed in the clans that started this exploiting of a feature designed to help new players get into the game. This is why we can't have nice things

You don't gain money in strat with an alt, meaning it's useless for clan to exploit this system, and don't forget you need to be gen 1, meaning only an alt would fit as veterans are almost all gen xx, so i guess if clans exploit this system it's more for the fun.

I see strat as the real game (but it's personnal) because these big battles are epic, but to be honest i'm waiting for v2, there will be more depth and content, more things to do on the map.

Ok so i go to the repository to download it and i get to 99% of the download and then it stops and says "The cRPG.zip download was interrupted" and then i click on resume and it just restarts the download. Everytime i do that it gets interupted and does the same thing and never finishes. What do i do?

Don't download this mod. Looks like you're not meant to.

But seriously, try downloading the full version. Might take longer, but maybe it'll be a completed download.

I know firefox has a download resumer, and I would guess that chrome does as well...

Try again
