Is there any sort of tabard that isn't worth over 6k but represents your clan symbol?
-
No.

gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
-
peasants dont get that sort of thing
-
Ha ha!
Peasants in heraldic clothing?! Are you mad Sir? What's next, allowing them to own land?
-
Too bad there isn't heraldic war paint. Naked chest +0 armor.

Isn't the normal 'Tabard' heraldic? The 105 gold one:
Tabard
weight: 2
body armor: 14
leg armor: 6
If that one isn't, then, no.
-
I foresee after the last comment, countless people wasting 105 gold to test that out...

There should be a heraldic armor for archers/light inf. that is leather, but with a heraldic badge sewn to it on the left breast, or even something on the full chest that reflects the main colors of the banner. Not sure if this can be done, but it would be awesome to see in strategus battles, and would be historically accurate.
Most armies couldn't afford a cohesive "uniform", so to tell each other apart you used heraldic badges and banners. Adding banners ain't a bad idea either to think of it.
