Title: Mouse lag while attacking
Post by: Ereb on July 25, 2011, 08:57:46 pm
Whenever I swing at enemy in battle my mouse controls feel heavy, sticky, lagged. It hinders my ability to make proper feints. I've usually above 100 fps and didnt notice any significant fps drops, tried both load textures on demand turned on and off, switched max pre-rendered frames -7, no real effect, turned off blood in game completely. Vsync makes me lag like that all the time. I'm using 1680x1050.

I noticed it happens mostly on big servers with lot of players ( 80+ ). Is this just serverside shitty lag?

Help.

Turn Vsync off. It will totally mess up your timings ingame.

oO

I wrote that I tried with both v-sync off and on, on only made things even worse. So I've it turned off.  :P

I did increase my mouse sensitivity, this is a partial solution but doesnt solve the issue itself. I noticed now that it doesnt really happen on low populated servers so I guess its either due to framerate (which is constantly above 80, usually above 100, in my case) or due to server load. :/
