A new 2handed sword suggestion. Well there are already wakizashi, katana, nodachi but no odachi. So there it goes.
Odachi
Weapon length : 155
Weight : 4
Difficulty : 17
Speed rating : 85
Swing damage : 45
Thrust damage : 0
Slots : 2
Can't use on horseback
Can't sheath
Could sound lame to ear but not that bad I guess.

Please not more weaboo shit, rather add more mounts and arabian equipment, weaboos had have enough love.

Adding in the cost for "exotic" I calculate this to cost 29,340 gold.

As a side note, odachi blades were historically a little over a meter long, and were used for ceremonies field battles and as a cavalry sword, being longer then a typical katana, where as the nodachi blades were typically over a meter and a third long and used for field battles, so why is this longer then a nodachi and unusable on a horse?
-
Sure, but don't take away the Flamberge.
-
Hmm what I've learned was odachi is way more longer than nodachi but I never dare to challenge with an asian about their culture. And many people would whine if it could be used on a horse. Same goes on japanese horse archer that use warbows (or long bows?).
And this will not take over the position of a flamberge, it's just an alternative.

The yummi nummy om nom nom bow is a 6PD bow and usable on horseback. You can make a Japanese horse archer.
As for the size of the odachi, I may be wrong, as there is no "standard" size for it like the Indian Goda so the sizes may vary all over the place. *shrugs*

Oooh we have a new bow, I haven't seen it before.
For the size, I googled for it (Graphics). And while many of the two handers including nodachi, were not being able to use on horseback there is not much of a problem.

No-dachi, O-dachi, Dai-katana........pretty much refer to the exact same sword.

I think you are talking about the tachi......
