Title: Loosing connection (Euro servers)
Post by: Lorenzo on January 17, 2011, 12:52:02 am
Hello, I dont really know what's happening but since this morning, everytime i get in a Euro server, i loose connection in a random way.

Sometimes i get to play a whole map and get disconected in the middle of a round, sometimes it happens before i can even play...

I dont know if it's a auto kick or something related to my ping (above 100 on euro's) but i'm not the only one...

It looks like other players from N A get disconected too.

After that happens, it takes a couples of minutes before I can even see the server I was on on the server list.

I plyed on Euro 2 and Euro 6.

Please help or ask for any other precisions, i'm also available to troubleshoot or test this problem if it's needed.

My friend started having issues a couple of days ago(been able to play fine before that) with servers not updating properly.
The problem we found was that the router was blocking the connection because it was seeing it as a lan flood attack, no idea why it decided it was that but that was the issue, as soon as we disabled flood detection off the router the game was fine again.

My advice try logging into you're router and see if you have any flood attacks when refreshing servers, if so disable the flood detection and try again.
