Title: ai not recruiting?

I tried to get into the battle to defend a village for 1 gold, but I was not hired although the roster was half empty. wtf? i always came to the battles i signed for and had quite decent k:d ratios so far.

Seriously did AI paid anyone yet ?
I always apply for free,i mean c'mon help those poor villagers out !
