Title: New computer drive - Can't find character at login

I had to buy a new drive, old one went up in smoke. Literally.

I restored steam apps from backup but when I launch crpg it doesn't allow me to select the character.  I can see him on web easy.

Do I need to just remake character in game and let them synch? Will they?  Almost lvl 29 and hate to loose all that and my +1 sword.

Any other suggestions?

You need to make sure that you on your new hard drive make your characters again with the exact same names and gender, and make sure that you are using the exact same CD key (as if you switched CD keys then you no longer will have access to your Characters).
