Long Espada Eslavona and Side sword, are two top-tier one-handers swords that need to be balanced. Both items have a high pierce dmg and a low cut dmg. I suggest that new stats:
Long Espada Eslavona
Weapon length: 103
Weight: 1.3
Difficulty: 12
Speed rating: 99
Weapon Length: 103
Thrust damage: 26 pierce (-2)
Swing damage: 29 cut (+2)
Slots: 1
Side sword
Weapon length: 95
Weight: 1.3
Difficulty: 12
Speed rating: 100 / 101? (There are a lot of 1h sword with NICE cut dmg with similar reach/speed, like scimitar, liuyedao, niuewidao)
Weapon Length: 95
Thrust damage: 25 pierce (-2)
Swing damage: 29 cut (+2)
Slots: 1

1h thrusts are probably the least dangerous, they're telegraphed like a mile away and take forever, not to mention have a good chance of glancing anyhow and letting you have a free shot on user

+1 You know what you're talking about. I notice some brainless ppl that seems they didn't play a shielder before.

Take a look at german greatsword (pierce 2h) and it's pierce dmg value. Then, post. If Eslavona and Side sword were as good as you think, you will see players playing with it. Did you see someone playing with sidesword postpatch? I didn't. Did you see ppl playing with Long Eslavona? A few; A few that after using it, changed to other 1h swords like: Elite scimitar, niuweidao, knightly, NCS... So, something happen when no one uses it.
27cut damage for a toptier 1h weapon is a ridiculous value.

I agree Paul. Stabbing with 1h swords is not an easy task. But lets take a look at this values.

We have three priceless weapons that have the same/more cut dmg value than a "Espada Eslavona". Don't you think is a ridiculous cut dmg value for an another toptier 1h sword? Give that swords the chance of doing something different. If you're forced to stab everyone with that cut dmg, something happen. No one use it.

Long espada is a stabbing sword, why do you want to make it the same as other swords? Noone forces you to use the most expensive 1hander, use a scottish sword or a long arming sword, if you don't like it :/

1h thrust is one of the most deadly attacks :D ive lost count of the ammount of people ive killed with the NCS thrust :P no one expects it when your moving or turning :P

I do not understand why do you hate those weapons. Thrust attack is the trickiest attack ever, and with long range (which those swords have) they become very decent. Plus thrust damage deals pierce damage which works well against heavy armored foes. Moreover, swings are pretty good in overall when needed. It's the players fault to underestimate such items.

Good call. They are top tier swords and should have stats to match. Here's my suggestions for new stats.
Side sword
weight 1.3
requirement 8 (-2)
spd rtng 101 (+1)
weapon length 95
swing damage 32 cut (+5)
thrust damage 26 pierce (-1)
Long Espada Eslavona
weight 1.25
requirement 10 (-2)
spd rtng 98 (-1)
weapon length 103
swing damage 29 cut (+1)
thrust damage 28 pierce (+1)
Devs should implement this and it would be good.

:kick out 30-60° to right then 90-180° back to left and jab someone in the side and always get guaranteed hit

After playing with eslavona and long eslavona (on MW version) I have to say that both are ok. I think sidesword is always a nice and unused sword. Why? People don't care about its power. Having a 4 attack (thrust) make you more unpredictable. And another factor is speed bonus. You will thrust a lot of people running to you. If you hit them on the head, it's an instakill. With enough powerstrike, having 30 cut dmg is enough. You won't glance. And stabbing is just skill. By the way, i'm talking about MW version.
My last suggestion is adding +1 cut damage on eslavona, l/eslavona and sidesword. Three are expensive swords and deserve a little high cut dmg modifier.
Side sword: 28c, 27p
Eslavona: 26c, 29p
L. Eslavona: 28c, 27p.

Fights are always different situations & angles, and controlling it personally is way better.
